You can still create complex animations that need to follow each other based on time. By putting these elements all together in a group, and start the group with a scroll trigger you can create animations like the map below.

Activated by a scroll trigger

In the Pro editor you can draw a path what the specific element has to follow. This animation does not play based on time but on the distance that a user scrolls through the page. An example in this page is the metro and the package that falls through the volcano.

Next to the timed animations you can now decide when an animation start or ends depending on the position in the 'longpage’. In the editor you simply indicate where the animation needs to start. The text descriptions in this example are using scroll triggers. 

Decide where your animation starts

With a keyframe animation, you decide for yourself how the element animates in or out the page. A keyframe animation consists of multiple points (keyframes). Between the points you draw straight or curved paths where the animation runs over.

Just as with the 'Mouse move' effect, add depth to your page, this time during the scroll transition. Let certain elements move vertically faster or slower when scrolling down the page. Look at the background of this page.
